This page explains how to delete your GoViral account and what happens after deletion.

Who Can Request Account Deletion?

Any registered GoViral user may request account deletion at any time.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When your account deletion request is approved, we will delete or anonymize (where applicable):

• Your GoViral user account
• Email address
• Phone number (including linked WhatsApp number)
• Profile information
• Saved contacts associated with your account
• Usage data linked directly to your account
• Any other personal data stored in our systems

⚠️ Important:
Some data may be retained only if required by law, for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or enforcement of our agreements.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: via the GoViral App (Recommended)

• Open My Account page on the GoViral App.
• Click on the Delete My Account button.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the process.

Option 2: Request via Email

• Using your GoViral registered email, send an email to [email protected]
• Use the subject line: “Account Deletion Request”
• In your message, include your GoViral registered WhatsApp number and a clear request to delete your GoViral account.

Option 3: Request via WhatsApp

• Using your GoViral registered WhatsApp number, contact our support team via WhatsApp at +2347065118584
• In your chat, provide your GoViral registered email and a clear request to delete your GoViral account.

NOTE:

• Account deletion requests are reviewed and processed within a reasonable time
• Identity verification may be required before deletion
• Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered

Effects of Account Deletion

After deletion:

• You will lose access to your GoViral account
• You will no longer be able to restore saved contacts
• All “processing” orders will be “suspended”
• Some features may no longer be available
• You may need to create a new account if you wish to use GoViral again

Legal Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have additional data protection rights, including:

• The right to access your personal data
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to restrict or object to processing
